For over 20 years, Conservation SA has worked to protect the endangered Mount Lofty Ranges Southern Emu-wren (MLRSEW), found only on the Fleurieu Peninsula, south of Adelaide.
We work with landholders and other government agencies in the management and research of the unique and critically endangered Fleurieu Peninsula swamps, habitat for the MLRSEW.
Both the Fleurieu Peninsula swamps and the MLRSEW are listed as endangered under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
