Act now: No place for nuclear waste

South Australia is a special place with strong and unique communities and breathtaking landscapes.

We have a long and proud history of saying no to nuclear waste - with legislation to back it up and make it illegal to establish a nuclear dump here.

Our state is simply 'too good to waste.'

Right now the Federal Government is pushing forward with a deeply contested plan to establish a nuclear waste facility on the Eyre Peninsula.

Please watch and share this important video to find out what’s at stake:  Barngarla - Judicial Review Rights.

Legislation is before the Senate right now that names this region as the national dump and store site and removes the rights of judicial review for Traditional Owners and others in the community opposed to the current plan.

We urgently need to get our state Senate representatives to vote against this heavy-handed and unnecessary legislation.

Please add your voice and note to the letter below and hit send for your email to be sent to those Senators who will decide this issue.

We need a responsible approach to managing radioactive waste, not a deeply flawed political ‘fix’.
